Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Carol Fairman began her real estate career nearly 3 decades ago in a sleepy small town in Florida, where she and her late husband, Bud, owned and operated their own real estate agency.
When family responsibilities brought Carol and her family back to Louisville, she formed The Fairman Group, a top-producing real estate team with RE/MAX. Carol quickly immersed herself in the Louisville market and became one of the area’s most sought-after REALTORS®.
In 2007, Carol brought her brother, David, onto the team, and together, they forged a partnership that has lasted nearly twenty years. During that time, Carol has achieved many designations, served on esteemed ethics committees, and obtained her real estate license in Indiana.
Carol’s many years of sales, marketing, negotiation, and real estate experience have led her to pursue a concentration in estate liquidation services, which will allow her to better serve her customers throughout their real estate journey.
Before joining The Fairman Group, David spent 30 years in professional sales for the family business. He worked in the tri-state area, negotiating contracts with companies of every size and in virtually every industry, from family-owned convenience stores to Fortune 500 corporations like Ford and GE.
In 2007, David moved into real estate full-time, focusing on first-time home buyers, retirees looking to make a change, and families searching for their dream home. Since then, David has found a passion for rehabilitating distressed properties finding and improving investment properties. He has also obtained his Real Estate Negotiations Expert designation.
Over the years, David has gained extensive experience working with auction houses and estate sale companies, giving him insider knowledge of their processes and priorities. His many years of sales, real estate, renovations, and estate items have coalesced into a unique skill set that makes him the go-to expert in the estate liquidation industry.
